Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Table Legged Tray Ozen
This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden table or
ozen
. This low square table is black and has four simple peg legs. This table is used on the floor for traditional meals at tea houses, kaiseki restaurants, and ryokan inns. One table is used by only one individual and sometimes it is paired with another larger ozen.

Good condition considering age. Slightly warped (wobbly). Bowed. Some scratches and discoloration. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
This was purchased at the famous Osu Antique Market in Nagoya, Japan.
